Unfortunately for him, his parents didn't like the idea of Toshiko getting involved into anything dangerous. His grandparents, however, saw the potential and determination in his eyes. Thus, they trained Toshiko in the ways of being a shinobi. His early training days weren't really the best, as he was prone to crying and being afraid easily. But he eventually improved as the years went on.After entering middle school, Toshiko would self-train after school every so often. Some of the other students caught wind of this, made fun of him, and labeled him a chūnibyō. This got carried throughout the majority of his school life, and caused him to become more shy, quiet, and lose confidence in himself. One day, after his first day of entering high school, Toshiko saw his the body of his grandparents on the ground and covered in blood. A group of evil shinobis had ambushed them, and left the scene as soon as Toshiko arrived. He called his parents to tell them the news. A week later after his grandparents' funeral, both of Toshiko's parents had blamed him for their deaths. Saying that they never had a child if it meant him wanting to become a shinobi.Toshiko grew in an even more depressed state after hearing this, and decided to move out. He now lives in an apartment, working multiple part-time jobs all while maintaining his school and shinobi life.
